2017 → 2019. Two years.

In late 2017, I went into surgery for a chronic back issue I had carried since adolescence. I came out fighting for my life.

A hospital-acquired infection — spondylodiscitis — attacked my spine. Three months in a hospital bed. Six months in a brace. The doctors told me walking normally again was not guaranteed.

I lost over 20 kilograms of muscle mass. Everything I had built over twenty years of competition. Gone.

Two years later, I stepped back on the IFBB Pro stage in the best physical condition of my entire career.
